The Sale of Knives ... We reserve the right to refuse a sale if we have reasonable cause to believe that the prospective customer is below the age of 18 years, or if we believe that the supply of goods to the prospective customer may infringe the Laws of England or present an unacceptable and reasonably indentifiable potential risk to the safety of others. The law requires that we take every reasonable precaution to ensure that knives are not sold to persons under the age of 18 years. We reserve the right to use any legal method open to us to establish a genuine age of potential customers in accordance with, and compliance of, the Offensive Weapons Act 1996. This may include a search of publicly available information, such as the Electoral Roll or Directory Enquiries. The results of any such search will be held in the strictest of confidence solely for the purpose of ensuring the validity of age declarations. We will not hold or store in any medium the results of any such search, merely holding an indication on our records that a search has been made for the purposes of age validation. In the event that we are unable to identify the genuine age of a potential customer we may request additional information from you. Often, this information can be supplied online in a very informal and non invasive manner. However, on occasions we may need to request physical proof such as a copy of a passport or driving licence. This information will be held in the strictest of confidence solely for the purpose of ensuring the validity of age declarations. Prices & Specification ... By placing your order, you authorise us to debit your payment card for the full cost of your order. We only debit your card once your order is ready to be packed and shipped. Due to the requirement to validate that the sale can take place within the scope of applicable legislation, your order shall not be deemed to be accepted by us until such time as your payment is received in full. Delivering Your Order ... For orders paid for with a credit or debit card, some banks may require that we only send your order to the registered cardholders address. We are obliged to follow bank rules regarding CNP (Customer Not Present) orders and in some circumstances we may decline your request to send the goods to your alternative postal despatch address. We will contact you by email about your order. Please note that whilst our website is completely secured to a military encryption specification, emails are not secure. We will never send any personal, personally identifiable, or specific payment information via email, and would kindly request that you refrain from doing the same. Please note that email traffic is not always reliable, and non-receipt of any email either by us or by you is completely beyond our control, and we will not be held liable for any expense, cost, or delay, arising out of non-transmission or receipt of email traffic. Sometimes errors do occur, and in the unlikely event that your order is short of a particular item, please contact us within 16 days so that we may fulfill your order to completion. If you have received an incorrect item in your order, please return the item to us in accordance with our 16-day money back guarantee and we will replace the item with the correct item you purchased. We will also refund the postage cost to you of returning items sent out in error by us. Sadly we cannot entertain claims for shortages and errors after the expiration of our 16-day money back guarantee period. International Orders ... Customers warrant that they will be fully responsible for any additional charges that they may incur, including but not limited to additional credit card charges, local levies, taxes, duties or other charges associated with their country. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that any order placed with us complies with their own countries laws. We will not be held responsible for the actions of Customs officials or any other persons outside of the United Kingdom, or any additional charge or loss caused by the intervention of Customs or other representative governing bodies. For more information on knife law please visit the law section of our online Knife Guide by clicking here. Military Knives ... We take every reasonable care to ensure that these items are marketed in a responsible manner, appropriate to a potential serving military or Police audience. Because of the global nature of our market, some manufacturers will adopt names for their products which we consider are unnecessarily aggressive in nature. We reserve the right to change or adapt designated model names and descriptions where we consider it prudent to do so, in our sole opinion and discretion. Where we feel we are unable to change a name, for instance in cases where the name forms an important part of the item itself, or where a change may be considered misleading, we will always endeavour to indicate that we have used the manufacturers model name designation. Traiding Knives & Aides ... Knife Law ... Knife Safety ... Never threaten anybody with a knife (even as a joke), as this is a serious Criminal Offence. And never leave your knife where it may be accessible to a child, and keep it stored securely: preferably in a sheath or case. It is your responsibility to ensure that you use your knife with due care and attention. We will not be held liable or responsible for any injury or damage howsoever caused.
