A genuinely unique variant of this American legend, we found this one-off tool languishing in the depths of our store room. But what makes this superb knife so special? Simple, it's one of the first models ever to roll out of Gerber's Oregon factory.

Manufactured in 1996, this knife is more than 10 years old, yet still brand new with it's original issue box. The blade is date stamped on the rear blade face and the front face still bears the original "Combat Folder" stamp.

In addition to the American made Cordura belt pouch, this model is equipped with a truly unique Newt Livesay custom made military specification Kydex belt pouch designed to hold the knife horizontally in the small of the back for left or right handed deployment.

The box has some shelf wear as you might expect for an 11 year old box, but it has done an admirable job of keeping the contents in pristine condition. You won't find a better original example of this fantastic collectable model anywhere, or just the thing for a serving member of the armed forces.
