Modelled on the original Soviet Spetznaz shovel, the Cold Steel variant features a shovel head and socket forged from surgical-grade carbon steel, heat treated for maximum strength and durability. The edges come sharpened to a utility / axe edge that can easily be improved to razor sharpness.

In addition to the normal tasks of digging and clearing snow, this shovel can cut - be used to chop or clear wood, prepare a fire, make a shelter, and so much more. Some customers have used them for target sports, such is the balance of this superbly strong model.
